Scope of Works:
The Change Analyst will work across a major digital transformation portfolio of projects on behalf of the Northern Territory Police (NTP) including the National Firearms Register Project and Electronic Rostering System.
This role will focus on analysing and working collaboratively with technical and sworn program resources to meet the Northern Territory Police (NTP) business requirements within the constraints of the solution and program parameters. The Change Analyst also assists with the design, development, testing and implementation of new business processes to ensure that the NTP continues to meet legislative obligations and complies with standards, policies and procedures.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Engage with business stakeholders within and external to the NTP and elicit their requirements.
Actively listen to staff, colleagues, clients and stakeholders. Involve others and recognise their contributions. Consult and share information and ensure others are kept informed of issues. Work collaboratively and operate as an effective team member.
Collaborate with other program team members to identify and manage change and improvement opportunities, in accordance with best practice change management policies and procedures.
Provide expert advice, guidance and support to NTP and DPS executive and program/project leads and managers, to plan and manage resource requirements through procurement and/or recruitment in line with program/project deliverables and priorities.
Co-design and deliver stakeholder engagement events and people change support services (examples: roadshows, information sessions and webinars, pre and post go live people support services).
Provide timely, accurate feedback and mitigation advice on risks and barriers that may affect the change process.
Deliver reliable work progress status updates using established program process, tools and templates.
Essential Skills and Experience:
2+ years' experience as a Change Analyst (or similar role).
Previous experience delivering complex business change in a large digital transformational program. Ability to support and deliver an enhanced colleague, customer, and operational experience in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Ability to apply change management principles, techniques and tools.
Experienced in business readiness and communication strategies.
Strong engagement and stakeholder management skills.
Identify delivery risks and develop aligned risk mitigation tactics.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
Experience in delivering professional learning, training or upskilling others in relation to computer-based information or new ways of working.
Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or recent experience in related Project Management, change management or IT.
