The Strategy and Performance Business Unit is responsible forproviding high-level strategic planning, change management,leadership and direction for the City, supporting achievement of amore sustainable organisation and community. We enable performanceoutcomes for the City as well as a coordinated approach to changemanagement, corporate planning and performance to deliver long termfinancial sustainability.

About the Position We are seeking applications from experienced Change Advisors whothrive in a transformational environment and have the capabilityand skills to steer a portfolio of change technology projects.Reporting to the Change Lead of Strategy and Performance, this rolewill assist with the establishment and execution of organisationalchange management practices across technology projects. Thesechange programs are delivering a range of initiatives representinga leap forward in our innovation and technology-driven strategy toenable timely decision making, effective and efficient delivery ofour services.
A hands-on role, the successful candidate will partner with theICT Project Management Office and various Project Managers todeliver end to end change solutions and ensure stakeholdersare prepared to receive the change and understand the benefitsassociated. You have excellent communication skills and are able todrive clear and succinct messages including the translation ofhighly technical concepts into simple language that appeals to endusers.
The role will further focus on coordinating the entire suite ofchange activities in line with the City's Change ManagementFramework and Approach.
You will champion best practices in Agile and Lean changeapproaches, have a passion for innovation and a commitment toimplement strategic change initiatives that deliver measurabletechnology and business impact.
Key Responsibilities The duties of the Change Advisor will include but are notlimited to:
Leads the development and delivery of all aspects of thechange management strategy (including communication plan,change management plan, learning and adoption schedules,stakeholder management plan) to implement technologyprojects.Fosters collaborative and mutually supportive relationshipswith all stakeholders to ensure maximum adoption rates.Participates in business readiness planning to ensure theCity of Stirling employees and customers are prepared for thechange.Identifies opportunities, risks and mitigation strategiesinvolved in theSupports the development and facilitation of learning andadoption including development of training plans andmaterials.Leads the continuous adoption of the change initiative andfacilitates the successful delivery of technology projects thatmeet business needsProvides regular and meaningful reports to the Change Leadand senior leaders on the delivery of change management planswithin technology projects.Solicits feedback from stakeholders to determine thesuccess of change management activities and ensure thatbehavioural changes align with strategic objectives.Leverages internal tools to develop engaging communicationmaterials aligned to stakeholder communication and engagementrequirements.Leverages support structures such as Change Champions, HR,IT, Strategy and Performance and Marketing tocross-collaborate.About You The following qualifications and experience are sought to besuccessful for this role: If you don't tick all the boxes,please still apply as all applications will be considered.
Relevant tertiary qualifications or significant workexperience that could be equated to tertiaryqualificationsProsci, Lean and/or Agile Change qualifications.Experience with the use and application of changemanagement toolsSignificant previous experience leading technology projectswith previous application of change management tools andlean/agile change methodologiesDemonstrated experience carrying out change management onan ERP implementationOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsAbility to engage with all levels of the organisationapplying strong emotional intelligence.An active listener with the ability to analyse informationand propose a strategic change direction.For further information, please refer to the positiondescription.
