Fixed term, full time opportunityPoV Grade 2.2, $66,063 - $72,985About the role The Department of the Legislative Council is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our dynamic team on a fixed term basis as a Chamber Services Officer within the Usher of the Black Rod's Office. This role plays a pivotal part in supporting the efficient operation of the Parliament and ensuring an exceptional experience for Members of Parliament, staff, and visitors.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Providing exemplary support services during Chamber sitting days to Members, Table officers, and the public and media galleries by distributing documents and overseeing access.Collaborating with the Guest Services Officer and Meeting and Resources Support Coordinator to ensure a high level of customer service for all visitors to the Parliament.Managing visitor procedures, including public/private separation, and contribute to security and safety measures.Assisting in the set-up and maintenance of meeting rooms and spaces, supporting various functions and events.Contributing to public information roles, including conducting tours and supporting Parliament House Open Days.Assisting with administrative support during non-sitting weeks.About you To excel in this role, you will have:
