Chairperson & Non-Executive Director

The Company is seeking a Chairperson and a Non-Executive Director to join its Board.
The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in supporting the organization to achieve its strategic goals, particularly in the areas of fundraising, philanthropic contributions, governance, and business performance.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a leading nonprofit sports charity with a strong focus on enhancing the mental and physical health, educational, and economic outcomes of individuals and communities through sport.
The ideal candidates will be experienced governance professionals with a genuine commitment to the Foundation's mission and vision, demonstrating exceptional leadership, judgment, and a deep understanding of strategy and risk management.

Experience in the sports sector, whether as an administrator, athlete, or official, is highly desirable, as is a background in finance, audit, and risk, particularly for the Non-Executive Director role.
The Chairperson will be expected to have a proven track record of chairing a board of a similarly complex organization.
The Board meets quarterly, and the roles require a significant time commitment, including strategic planning days and an Annual General Meeting.
The Foundation is particularly interested in candidates who can bring a diverse range of skills and perspectives to the Board, and who are passionate about the role of sport in society.
Professional integrity and a strong alignment with the Foundation's values are essential.
