Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for structural steel projects. Analyse architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and the procurement team. Assist in preparing tender submissions and cost plans. Conduct risk analysis and provide value engineering solutions. Key Requirements: Relevant qualifications in engineering, construction management, or a related field are desirable. Proven experience as an Estimator in the structural steel or construction industry. Strong understanding of steel fabrication and erection processes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents. Proficient in estimating software, TEKLA software experience is highly desirable.
