CGC Recruitment are established experts in providing engineering resources to main tier and mid-tier contractors and have again been approached by one of our clients (a Tier 1 civil contractor) to source a Project Engineer & Senior Project Engineer to work on a $250M Pipeline duplication project located on the Northshore here in Sydney.
This project is a recently awarded $250+ml project as part of a long-term program of works here in Sydney.The first 3 months of the role will be office-based in Lane Cove working alongside the Designer, providing input into design methodologies and constructability methodologies, as well as leading client meetings.
The role will then transition out to site (close to Pennant Hills) and will involve:Development, implementation and ongoing monitoring of Project Management PlansConstruction planning, scheduling and progress monitoringDesign constructability and compliance reviewsSubcontract management – civil, building, structural, piping, mechanical, electrical and design contractsCost Forecasting and Financial ManagementThe role will report into the on-site PM and will involve working with a team of Engineers and Supervisors to deliver 2km of new pipeline including installation and commissioning in a rural environment.
The project is for 2.5 years and the position is full-time working for a well-known civil contractor.
