Job Description
Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cold Formed Steel Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating metal forming machinery (preferably Arkitech and Knudson rollformers) and be able to work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities: Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain various cold forming steel machines, including roll formers, presses, and brakes.Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.Tooling and Maintenance: Change and adjust tooling as needed, and perform basic machine maintenance.Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Production: Meet daily production quotas and maintain efficient workflow.Problem-Solving: Identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions and production issues.Documentation: Maintain accurate production records and quality control documentation.Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cold Formed Steel Machine Operator or in a related manufacturing role.Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read blueprints and technical drawings, and knowledge of measurement tools.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.Safety Awareness: Commitment to safety and the ability to follow safety procedures.Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with a team to achieve production goals.Benefits: Competitive compensation packagePaid time offOpportunities for training and advancementCompany Description: We are a cold-formed steel stud, truss, and wall panel manufacturer based in Florida.
