Located close to the Perth CBD, our impressive client is seeking a CFO to join their small, welcoming and friendly team.

Your new role
Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a very hands-on position where you will be responsible for nearly end to end accounts. You will manage and support an Accountant who is responsible for the more transactional duties, though the rest will fall to you. With this said, the successful person in this position would need to have experience in end to end finance, have great organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously and delegate as need be. This is a position that you can truly create your own, and you will be supported by a close-knit team and the CEO.

What you'll need to succeed Experience working in a similar role/capacity Be a self-starter, who is happy to do hands-on work Great communication and interpersonal skills Time management skills Strong leadership skills - ideally having had direct reports before Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team setting Capable of presenting financials to the board and providing summary documents Experience working within the government sector (desirable, not essential) CPA/CA or equivalent qualification (highly desirable) Friendly, approachable and professionally mannered What you'll get in return Attractive annual salary - between $140,000 - $155,000 + superannuation and benefits Flexible start and finish times with the ability to work from home Welcoming, supportive, friendly and personable team Parking, as well as being in a convenient location for public transport Ongoing career progression opportunities What you need to do now
