In this key role, you will have the opportunity to lead and build the finance and administration team to drive our business, which spans growing, packing, and wholesale.As a hands-on CFO, you will drive planning, operational and process improvements with the Managing Director and the executive team while providing strategic recommendations to the Directors.Samson's Fruit and Vegetable provide reliable year-round supply to a range of independent & chain stores, food service, Providore, and export customers.We currently have operations in Sydney and South-East Queensland. We are open-minded and inclusive, and our employees are essential to our success.In this role, you will:Day-to-day oversight of financial accounting, compliance and reporting policies and practices following applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Budgeting and financial planning for all business divisions.Lead the risk management function to record, manage and mitigate top-line risks and cascade risk management into the operations of the business.Deliver high quality monthly reporting, critical analysis, and forecasting by working with direct reports and the management team.Lead the internal financial audit of the company and manage any external audits as directed.Work closely with the finance and administration team to support the organisation's overall strategy, as well as build a culture that embraces change and innovation, gaining efficiency and commercial returns from full utilisation of existing and future systems and technologies.Build and develop the skills matrix of finance to ensure consistent succession planning across all functions.Take responsibility for commercial business case review of both existing and new opportunities, providing insights to stakeholders.Advise on long-term business and financial planning.Deliver continuous improvement to all accounting systems and processes to provide best-in-class reporting and forecasting services.Bring outstanding coaching ability and motivational leadership.Your Profile:Tertiary qualifications, CPA/CA accreditation.Strong leadership skills.Ability to lead a diverse team will be paramount to your success in this role.At least 5 years experience with a proven track record as a CFO in a medium to large setting.Proven track record of success in leading multiple businesses, with a preference for experience in FMCG.We offer a competitive salary package based on your qualifications and experience, a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, an early start leading to an early finish, and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of a rapidly growing company.How To Apply:If you are driven by success and up for a new challenge, then please submit your cover letter and resume to (email protected)
