About the role The Customer Analytics & Insights Lead at Coles Group plays a pivotal role in driving data-informed decision-making to enhance customer experience and business growth. In this role, you will analyse customer purchasing patterns, feedback, and behaviour trends to uncover key drivers of customer actions and advocacy. Your work will enable the business to optimise digital strategies through the development of insightful dashboards, reports, and predictive models.
Key responsibilities include building dashboards to track key metrics, supporting experimentation by designing and analysing tests for statistical validity, collaborating with marketing teams to ensure ROI tracking, and using advanced analytics to forecast the impact of various growth initiatives. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to present actionable insights and drive progress toward organisational objectives (OKRs). This position is ideal for a data-driven leader who can translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations to propel Coles Group's customer-centric initiatives forward.
About you and your skills 5+ years' experience in customer analytics & insights.Ideally proven experience in using Adobe analytics, Power BI, MicroStrategy or Full Story.Proven experience analysing data to reveal new actionable insights that have driven real business value.Ability to understand and link together different pieces of information to bring together the full story.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent teamwork skills.Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills.You'll also have Tertiary Degree in mathematics or statistics is preferred.Demonstrated experience in deriving insights and actionable recommendations.Skilled in translating business outcomes into metrics.Highly collaborative, able to engage and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.Experience in storytelling with written communication that is clear and effective.Being passionate about Coles customers.People enjoy working with you.About the recruitment process We're continuing to build a gender equitable team, and a culture that is just as diverse, inclusive and welcoming as the communities we serve.
