We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Event Security Supervisor to join our team.
The Event Security Supervisor will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of all event attendees, staff, performers, and property.
This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of security protocols and procedures.Duties & ResponsibilitiesWorks individually or in a team environment under limited supervision, which may not necessarily be at the site where the officer is posted;Exercises high level communications and interpersonal skills;Assists in the provision of training in conjunction with supervisors or trainers;Exercises discretion within the scope of this classification level;Exercises computer skills at a higher level than Level 4.Indicative of the tasks that an employee at this level may be required to perform are the following:Keyboard operation to alter the parameters within an integrated intelligent building management or security system, including operating computer programs that have the ability to remotely lock or unlock doors, program access cards, audit door access by individuals, as well as recording the time and date of access;Co-ordinate, monitor or record the activities of security officers utilising a verbal or computer based communications system within a monitoring centre including in or in connection with an airport security zone.A Security Officer Level 5 may be required to perform duties of security officers at Levels 1, 2, 3, and 4 that are not designed to promote deskilling.Skills & ExperienceComputer LiterateAble to work in a fast-paced environmentAble to Multi TaskExperience in a similar role preferredExperience working in a Supervisory positionExperience working within the Security IndustryDiversity StatementCertis Security Australia promotes diversity in the workplace through our Diversity Inclusion initiative and via our Indigenous partnership with Corroboree Security.
