Canterbury Technical Institute is inviting applications for a Vocational Trainer for its training operations at the GOLD COAST campus to deliver the Certificate IV in Ageing Support qualification. About the Role: As a Certificate IV in Ageing Support Trainer, you will deliver engaging and high-quality training to students pursuing their Certificate IV in Ageing Support. You'll play a vital role in equipping students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to provide compassionate, effective support to seniors in aged care settings.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver and assess the Certificate IV in Ageing Support (CHC43015) curriculum.Create an inclusive, supportive, and interactive learning environment.Provide one-on-one support, guidance, and mentorship to students as needed.Ensure training and assessments meet compliance standards and align with industry requirements.Stay updated with current trends in aged care and incorporate best practices into training.Selection Criteria: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or higher.Relevant qualifications in Ageing Support or a related field.Minimum 2 experience working within the aged care sector.Passion for teaching and mentoring, with strong communication skills.Understanding of current industry standards and compliance in aged care.Why Join Us?
