About the role The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the timely administration of CPA's end-to-end payroll process; accurately applying knowledge of relevant awards, enterprise agreements and legislation to ensure compliance and for providing advice and guidance to managers and employees across all benefit offerings.
This role is a 14 month fixed term contract based on site at our head office in Allambie Heights.
Responsibilities of the role (not limited to): Setting up new employees within the payroll and time and attendance systems to ensure accuracy of information Preparing exception reports and audit core hours against hours worked to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with awards, enterprise agreements and legislative requirements Exporting data files from the time and attendance system to the payroll system to effectively action the payroll process Running the payroll process in order to prepare preliminary reports for consideration by managers Preparing end of internal payroll reports and employee payslips for distribution Managing and escalating payroll enquiries About you: 2 - 3 years' experience in end to end payroll The ability to interpret and communicate all remunerations, salary packaging and benefits Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines A flexible and collaborative approach to work Attention to detail is a must Strong mathematical abilities Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) Experience with the following systems is desirable – Preceda, Rosterspace, Workday & Eziway Salary Packaging Working for CPA offers you exceptional remuneration & benefits: Access to a tax-free meal, entertainment & venue benefit card valued at $2,650 per year CPA being a PBI you are entitled to $15,730 tax free per FBT year through salary packaging (included in total package) Flexible ways of working - compressed hours, working from home options, flexibility surrounding hours $100 per year well-being allowance that you can use to enhance your wellbeing (eg: purchase sports equipment, have a massage, take a meditation class, the choice is yours) Discounted gym membership for you and your family, using Fitness Passport Employee Assistance Program How to Apply Please click 'Apply' to complete your application.
