RDA assists in bridging regional development gaps by collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders across sectors and supporting the delivery of Australian Government strategic priorities.
RDA Northern Territory is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Director of Regional Development (DRD) to lead an innovative organisation committed to advancing the Northern Territory's economic potential.
As CEO/DRD, you will:
Assist the RDA Committee in establishing the organisation's strategic vision and objectives.Lead a small team of dedicated staff to achieve these objectives.Facilitate meaningful engagement across the three levels of government to ensure investments deliver better outcomes for regions, support decarbonisation efforts, and drive the transition to a net-zero economy.Foster regional linkages across sectors to achieve these aims.Promote the region's activities to government, industry, business, and community sectors to highlight competitive advantages.Provide relevant data and local intelligence to inform regional development strategies, program design, and policy responses.Support regional stakeholders to identify and pursue grant opportunities that advance strategic regional priorities.We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual who is knowledgeable about the economic strengths and challenges of the Northern Territory.
