About the Role As Chief Executive Officer, reporting directly to the Soldier On Board, you will be a strategic, outcome-focused leader who is adept at navigating a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You will champion Soldier On's mission, overseeing daily operations, driving the organisational strategic plan, and strengthening relationships with government, corporate partners, and community stakeholders. As the CEO, your responsibilities will include: Demonstrating leadership expertise in steering an organisation towards success; Securing sustainable, long-term income streams to support Soldier On's objectives; Fostering strategic partnerships and raising awareness of veterans' needs across government, community, and industry. Key Accountabilities Uphold Soldier On's reputation as a leading national not-for-profit ESO in fundraising, business development, and brand recognition; Drive financial growth and sustainability to support the organisation's future direction; Lead and inspire a professional service delivery team; Oversee the development and execution of the 5-year strategic plan; Represent Soldier On across government, community, industry, sponsors, and potential benefactors. To succeed in this role, you will possess: High-level leadership and representational skills; Strong professional and personal integrity; A community-focused approach with a track record of service delivery; Experience managing large or complex operations, ideally within the ESO sector; Confidence, adaptability, and the ability to inspire and influence those around you.
