Property Network of Australia is currently seeking a Centre Manager / Property Manager for a prominent shopping centre in the Mount Gambier area.
As part of a leading National Shopping Centre Group, your role will report to the Regional Portfolio Manager and support one of the largest shopping centre owners in Australia.You may currently be in a Centre Manager or Property Manager role, or a Retail Manager or Assistant Centre Manager looking to step up.
We are also happy to consider contract options while searching for the right permanent candidate for the position.Key Duties & Responsibilities: Regular inspection of the Centre to ensure the highest level of presentation.Provide marketing support to the Centre as required and work within set marketing budgets.Coordinate and work with the assigned leasing agent on the leasing of vacant space, if required.Assess and advise managers of any issues of significance or matters that may be controversial for either the Centre/tenants or surrounding properties/tenants.Undertake all rent reviews in a timely and accurate manner in line with guidelines.Full financial reporting & variance explanations in accrual and cash format.Keep tenant insurance and bank guarantee/deposit schedules up to date.Work within the organisation to ensure compliance, risk management, and corporate governance principles and practices are adhered to.Close control, management, and reporting on the financial position (Actual vs Budget).Prepare annual budgets for final approval by the Regional Property Manager and Account Director.Qualifications:Relevant degree, i.e., Bachelor of Business (Property) preferred.Certificate of Registration (Agent's Rep) – Essential.Current driver's licence – Mandatory.A minimum of 5 years previous experience in the Property Industry, ideally including Retail experience.Previous experience preparing asset plans, more complex budgets, and comprehensive reports.Significant experience in negotiating leases and rent reviews.Please apply for the attention of Lawrence Peters of Property Network of Australia with a copy of your updated resume.#J-18808-Ljbffr
