Position: Centre Manager, Sunshine Coast Campus, Sippy Downs
Level: Level 8, $111,613- $126,406 p.a. pro rata, plus up to 17% employer superannuation
Type: Fractional (60%), fixed-term appointment for 12 months
The Opportunity UniSC Indigenous and Transcultural Research Centre: Research that makes a difference
Be part of a like-minded, transdisciplinary research community that is passionate about diversity and committed to social justice, equity and inclusion.
You will ensure the smooth operation and functioning of the Indigenous and Transcultural Research Centre (ITRC) and support the work of the two Co-Directors in securing grant funding and operating the ITRC. You will deliver strategic advice and recommendations to the Directors relating to governance and management of the Centre.
You will: Lead the development and implementation of the Centre's annual work plan. Identify and support opportunities for the Centre to participate in high-level national and international First Nations and transcultural policy dialogues. Conceptualise, develop, and lead new initiatives working collaboratively with other UniSC research institute and centre staff. Oversee all aspects of the Centre's governance, management, and operations. Support the Centre's research program by assisting project leaders with grant policy compliance. About you You possess a high level of social and cultural awareness, particularly in collaborating with First Nations and transcultural communities. You have exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills and are adept at developing and delivering content across various platforms.
To be successful you will possess: A relevant postgraduate qualification aligned to the Centre's fields of research, or equivalent knowledge and experience. Experience managing a research group or program within the higher education sector. Significant research project management experience. Comprehensive knowledge of governance protocols related to research. Applications for this position close midnight, Thursday 26 September 2024.
