The Centre
Our 76-place centre is Exceeding in the National Quality Standard and close to shopping and public transport precincts. Springfield is a short, four-minute walk from Orion Central, Springfield Central Train Station and Orion Lagoon. We are proud to have a culturally diverse team and celebrate a variety of cultures and holidays throughout the year. We also organise a range of fundraising events for the children to be involved in. With a range of exciting, resource-rich environments including herb and vegetable gardens, a passionfruit vine, a spacious veranda, natural play structures, and an open-plan atelier, children are encouraged to explore and learn.

As Centre Manager, you'll:
Lead a professional team to create a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive.Foster lasting relationships with families, ensuring they feel informed and confident in our care.Develop a culture of quality and safety that makes Guardian the centre of choice in your community.Contribute to Guardian's mission by making your centre financially sustainable and investing in high-quality education for young children across Australia.Requirements
To be considered, you'll need:
A completed Diploma in Children's Services and/or Bachelor of Education (or working towards it).Prior experience in a leadership role within a long day-care centre.Practical knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).Budget and financial accountability experience.Current First Aid and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates, along with a valid Working with Children check.Apply Now
