Your new role Cook and prepare nutritious meals for children Flexible food budget that allows you to create meals and menus according to nutritional guidelines and seasonal produce with ongoing support from the centre manager The ideal candidate would work in the kitchen Monday to Friday, hours can be flexible to promote work/life balance Uphold cleanliness standards and ensure the kitchen operates within the food safety license, NQS and governing regulations Follow and complete food safety documents required for the Food Safety Plan Sound knowledge and understanding of food allergies and dietary requirements Responsible for ordering all supplies required through local suppliers Invited to plan cooking experiences for children and be a consistent valued member both within the team and by the children and families What WE offer Access to Genius Balance - connect with other Educators across the country Parenting support - planned return to work pathways and support Become part of our Grow With Genius Program - upskill your qualifications on us!
What YOU need Cert III in commercial cookery Relevant working with children checks, and food safety certificates Previous experience running a kitchen, cooking in a childcare, nursing home, school canteen or similar catering environment.
