Childcare & Outside School Hours Care (Education & Training) Full time About Us: We are a reputable childcare organisation committed to providing high-quality early childhood education and care. Our childcare centres are dedicated to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children's development.
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Centre Director to lead our Childcare Centre located in Thornleigh. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management, leadership, and administration of the centre, ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for both children and staff.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining high-quality standards. Foster a love for learning and creativity among children through engaging activities. Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, ensuring open communication and involvement. Represent the centre in the local community, establishing partnerships and promoting the centre's values. Conduct regular performance evaluations and support professional growth. Manage the budget effectively, ensuring efficient use of resources. Lead the planning and implementation of the educational program which values a holistic view of each child's development. Prioritize the health and safety of all children in service. Assist with daily campus operations and room tasks such as activity preparation and mealtimes. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to other educators within the service. Maintain ongoing records of the children's development, program, and daily information. Assure the high quality of services in consideration of the National Quality Standards as well as compliance with relevant Government Regulations. Qualifications and Skills: Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Minimum one to two years experience in a Centre Director role within an Early Childcare setting. Current paid working with children check, current First Aid & CPR. National Police Check (within 6 months). Strong understanding of childcare regulations and compliance. Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Passion for early childhood education and commitment to providing quality care.
