Teaching - Early Childhood (Education & Training) Full time Are you an experienced early learning professional interested in working in an organisation that supports you to do what you love to do most – support children and their families?

As a Centre Director, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting and developing your team while building strong, meaningful relationships with children and families, delivering the support of the SDN village to their lives.

You will have a strong interest in building the team's skills, philosophy, and child-centred practices, from the ground up.

SDN Surry Hills has been supporting children and families on Gadigal Land for more than 105 years.
We are well known within the local community for our play-based approach and dedicated and skillful team.
The centre is a 60-place service in Sydney's vibrant inner east community, and we are close to light rail, buses, and Central station.
You mustHave a university qualification in Early Childhood Education, which meets the requirements to be a Nominated Supervisor and registration with NESA.Have demonstrated commitment to inclusion.Have previous experience as a centre director with excellent pedagogical practice informed by the Early Years Learning Framework and best practice in inclusion.Experience delivering inclusive and integrated services for families, particularly vulnerable and disadvantaged families.Have strong communication skills and commercial acumen.Have a commitment to safety.Have a strong working knowledge of all areas of the National Quality Framework.Have the desire to lead, motivate, and encourage your team.Access to leadership development and support.Above award pay and conditions.Discounted childcare fees & priority placement for your children.Teacher accreditation support.Professional training and development to support you to continue to learn and grow.Rostered day off (RDO) per month.Paid lunch breaks.Generous leave entitlements.Day-to-day support from a full shared services team that includes HR and Organisational development, finance, marketing, and family experience.What it's like to work with our villageWhen you join SDN, you join a village that partners with families to enrich young lives.
