About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Centre Director/Coordinator with a minimum of two years' experience in an early childhood education and care setting. The ideal candidate will bring both expertise and a strong commitment to fostering a positive, nurturing environment for children, families, and staff in our beautiful Ballajura service.
About you Relevant professional experience in community work and program management can be taken into account. An Early Childhood Education and Care or Community Services or equivalent (ACECQA approved) qualification is an advantage or can be offered through traineeship to an approved candidate. Capability to build community partnerships, learn about the community, plan for change, and implement collective partnerships, programs, and skills. Administration, office computer and reporting skills. Strong staff support, supervision, and management skills (including volunteer supervision). Capacity to work in a culturally competent framework. Achieve operational targets, policies, and procedures. Managing a diverse program and activities. Planning and evaluation. Grants writing. Aspire to work in a not-for-profit organisation where you can attach greater meaning to the work you do. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Children's Services Award 2018 and Meerilinga Flexibility Agreement.
