Cherry Blossom Early Learning Centre – Leura NSW
Are you an experienced and passionate leader in early childhood education and care?

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Centre Director to lead our 44-place childcare centre in New South Wales catering for ages 0 - 6 years.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children, families, and staff in a nurturing, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Leading and managing a team of educators to ensure the provision of safe, engaging, and educational experiences for children.
Working in collaboration with the current Centre Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader.
Developing and implementing the curriculum in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
Managing the operational aspects of the centre, including staff rostering, budgeting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with families, children, and the wider community.
Ensuring that all health, safety, and welfare policies are consistently upheld, promoting a safe environment for children and staff.
Promoting a positive workplace culture through staff support, training, and professional development.
Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders and ensuring smooth administrative processes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A recognised qualification in early childhood education - Diploma of Early Childhood or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Current First Aid in Early Childhood.
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or Food Safe Handlers Certificate.
Proven experience in a leadership or management role within the early childhood sector.
A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and the community.
A passion for fostering positive, nurturing environments for children's growth and development.
Experience managing a similar-sized centre.
Strong business management skills.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement.
