Centre Director

Little Stars Early Education Centre is seeking an experienced and dedicated Centre Director to lead our team in Avondale Heights.

As the Director of Little Stars Early Education Centre, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of committed educators and provide high-quality care and education to children.
You will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of the Centre and ensuring that our programs are delivered in line with legislative requirements, company policies, and procedures.
You will also have the chance to build strong relationships with families, the local business community, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee the daily operation of the childcare centre, including staffing, budget management, and communication with parents and stakeholders
· Lead and support the professional development of the Childcare Educators and Teachers, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management
· Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans that support the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child
· Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, following all policies and procedures
· Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations
· Foster a positive and inclusive culture that promotes teamwork and respect for diversity
· Administrative work
· Handling grievances and complaints
Requirements:
· ACECQA approved Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education or a related field
· Previous experience in a management role within an early childhood education setting.
· Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
· Strong communication and relationship-building abilities with children, families, and stakeholders.
