The Opportunity: Director / Nominated Supervisor Location: Glasshouse MountainsHours: Up to 38 hours with flexibilityCompensation: Well above award + attractive share of profitWe are looking for a Director to run our Glasshouse Mountains service.
The successful applicant will have the ability to lead, motivate and inspire the current team of early childhood staff along with creating and maintaining meaningful relationships with families and the surrounding community.
You will coordinate all day-to-day Centre operations such as admin, health & safety and staff development.
You will ensure strong management for the day-to-day operations of the centre through regular evaluation of systems and processes, as well as management of staff rosters, staff ratios and adequate supervision.
You will ensure centre and staff compliance with relevant legislative documents and build and maintain a strong relationship with children, families, staff and other internal and external stakeholders.
About You Positive outlookConfident and resilient personalityProblem solving and growth mentalityGood judgement and initiativeDecisive and matureStrong leadership skillsGood communication and mediation skillsThorough understanding of EYLF and NQSProfessionalismYour Responsibilities: Lead your team in creating and delivering an educational program fostering children's learning and development.Prioritize children's health and safety.Engage in joyful, educational activities, inspiring a love for learning.Build strong relationships with families and fellow educators.Qualifications: Sense of humour, strong work ethic, and reliability.Diploma of Early Childhood Education or actively pursuing one.Current Qld Blue Card.Passion for promoting a healthy lifestyle and good nutrition for children.Demonstrate a high level of communication skills and maintain a professional manner in the workplace.Have a strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS.Current First Aid, CPR & Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificate.Previous experience as an Assistant Director essential.Above all be passionate about living a healthy lifestyle as this is imperative to be a role model for the children in our care.About Us: Glasshouse Early Education Centre is located on the main road just 450m from the Glasshouse Mountains State School.
Our Centre opened in October 2006 and caters for 151 children aged from birth to 5 years.
We offer a huge range of high-quality programs for our children such as swimming lessons, music and movement and language opportunities.
