Childcare & Outside School Hours Care (Education & Training) Welcome to Ascolta Early Learning and Care where our values are at the heart of everything we do - Listen, Love, Laugh and LearnAbout the roleThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, passionate Centre Director looking to put their stamp on a brand new 92 placed service just opened!Your expertise and experience will be drawn on to assist with setting up and allocating resources within the service, staff selection, parent tour and enrolment management, conducting risk assessments and adopting policies to suit the service, as well as other requirements associated with setting up a new service.Primary duties will involve:Ensuring the rights of children and child protection is foremost.Managing all day-to-day aspects of the Service's operations to ensure the provision of high-quality education and care.Building a successful team including staff selection and onboarding.Ensuring service compliance with company standards, the EYLF and NQSTeam development, coordination and supervision, including undertaking the Nominated Supervisor responsibilities for the service.Workplace health and safety compliance.Staff rostering, managing adequate ratios, timesheet review and approval.Conducting parent tours, managing enrolments and waitlists.Duties managed by our support team:To support our Centre Director so they are able to give focus and energy to the children, families and their team, the following tasks are centralised and managed by our external support team such as;Repairs and maintenance,Qualification management, tracking and renewal remindersFamily payments and managing payment queriesRecruitment and onboardingWhat Ascolta offers:A supportive, local operations team that manage family and supplier accounts, budgets, staff sourcing and recruitment, coordination of maintenance requests, plus more so you focus on the care of the children and your team.A dedicated Head of Learning to support you and your team with best-practice curriculum planning and implementation.A Wellness Program to support your mental, physical and general healthStaff discounts and benefits programCareer Training and Progression Opportunities within the Ascolta Early Learning and Care groupStaff Discount on Childcare FeesUniform ProvidedWhat you will need:A Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood), or Diploma in Early Childhood and Care.A current (WA) Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)National Criminal History Check within the last six (6) months.First Aid in an Education and Care Setting.Administrative skills, including effective time and workload managementLeadership skills and a high level of self-motivationExperience leading teams to success in an Early Years Childcare setting.Right to Work in AustraliaAbout Ascolta Early Learning and Care:An Italian word, "Ascolta" literally means "to listen.
