This role is responsible for the efficient and high-quality provision of Customer Service to clients, stakeholders, and staff for RSL Queensland.
Specific services include stakeholder support within centres, reception, general and facility administration, centre tours, monitoring staff amenities and supplies, services coordination, and providing general office support services.This role will report to the Stafford Centre Manager and is a part of the Partnerships and Engagement Team.
It is a permanent, full-time position based onsite 5 days a week, from 8.00am – 4.00pm.The role also requires that we:Ensure a high level of customer service to all clients by welcoming all visitors on-site, assisting with sign-in processes, determining the nature of business, directing them appropriately, and notifying the relevant staff member of visitor arrival.In the event of a high need or vulnerable client presenting in the reception area, comply with centre protocol efficiently and follow safety measures in place to support both the client and the staff in the centre.Take calls for the centre in a professional and efficient manner, determining the purpose of the call, forwarding to the appropriate staff, and providing the required information.
If required, complete an intake into services complying with the systems and processes to do so and complete this task for other Centres in the Network as required.Respond to distressed callers that come through to the main phone line in a professional and empathetic manner; direct to appropriate services and staff efficiently.
Complete this task for other Centres in the Network as required.Build strong stakeholder relationships with a variety of stakeholders including building knowledge of the Network Partner organisations.Act as a key point of contact and support for internal support teams such as Assets and IT, including but not limited to submitting and monitoring service requests, and receiving and supporting contractors.Monitor stock levels of staff amenities and stationary items, and order, receive and unpack deliveries of such on a regular basis.What's required to succeed:We are looking for someone who enjoys being that 'go-to' person, who can take initiative and ownership of their work, and above all, provide a welcoming environment for those visiting the Centre.Minimum 5 years previous community centre/coordinator experience or Diploma in Business Administration.First Aid trained and certified or willingness to obtain.Blue card or ability to obtain desirable.Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.Well-developed written communication and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated ability to build relationships.Practical experience in a similar role with excellent customer service skills and proven administration skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of information.Practical thinking and ability to deal with reactive situations in a calm and coordinated manner.Ability to work as part of a team, and autonomously, but always in the best interests of the team.Proven ability to work independently and respond with initiative, common sense, and compassion to unexpected or rapidly evolving situations.Embracing collaboration and innovation, we work as one to lead the change veterans need.
