Full time role across Belmont and Booragul locations.

Generous salary packaging benefitsUp to 40% discount on school enrolment fees at any of our 4 Newcastle Anglican schoolsDiscounted private health insurance through MedibankA unique culture promoting diversity, cultural competence and shared valuesAccess to over 300+ gyms with the Fitness Passport ProgramFree annual flu vaccinationsFree access to our corporate Employee Assistance Program14 weeks paid parental leave or 3 weeks paid partner leave.Flexible working arrangements – Talk to us about your needs!Key Responsibilities: Manage the daily operations of Day Programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.Collaborate with management to oversee and manage the Day Program budget effectively.Serve as a liaison for consumers, carers, staff, and managers regarding CHSP/HCP Home Care matters.Organise and participate in meetings related to Day Program Services.Achieve program performance goals through effective planning and time management.Develop efficient staff and transport rosters within set timeframes and budget.Maintain My Aged Care records for referrals and consumer services.Contribute to the ongoing development and innovation in response to aged care reforms.Support the Day Program team actively on the floor, and oversee administrative tasks related to service provision.Ensure quality client care standards and assist in continuous improvement efforts.Report and manage incidents or compliance risks promptly.Leadership & Client Service: Provide exemplary leadership, fostering a culture of excellence in care.Manage employee performance, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.Coach and mentor staff to optimise resource management.Maintain staffing levels and ensure all employees are appropriately trained and qualified.Collaborate with the Community Aged Care team to ensure seamless care delivery.Uphold the dignity and rights of clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.You must have: Cert III or IV in Aged CareCertificate IV in Business, Leadership, Management or equivalent or previous experience in a similar lead position within the Aged Care industry is desirableStrong experience in team leadership.Experience in the Health, Aged Care or Dementia specific sector or a demonstrated understanding of these sectors.Experience in client assessment, care planning and documentation.Understanding of the Aged Care StandardsComprehensive experience in working in a flexible, multi-skilled team environment with advanced interpersonal, communication, customer service and networking skills.You must also have your Current Drivers Licence, First Aid certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check, be willing to complete a national criminal history check & willingness to complete a pre-employment medical assessment.
