Centre Chef

About the role
 
We are seeking an adaptive and enthusiastic full time Centre Cook to create nutritious and delicious meals for up to 87 children per day in our newest service.
 
Monday – Friday from 7:00am to 3:00pm
 
In line with the Centre Director the Centre Cook will work to menus which are nutritious and tailored to meet the needs of young children and babies. The Centre Cook will have a thorough handle of children's intolerances and allergies, and prepare foods and meals which are appropriately in line with this.
 
The Centre Cook is expected to be welcoming and friendly to all the of children, families and team, and will be an essential part of the day-to-day routine within the centre.
 
Hourly rate TBC upon offer of role.
 
Skills and experience
 
Experience in food handling is necessary to apply for this roleKnowledge of allergies and food intolerancesExperience in devising, reviewing and adhering to FSP requirementsRecognised culinary qualification (preferred but not essential)A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) - mandatory
