About the role
In this role, you will provide project planning expertise, coordinate all related systems and procedures, and monitor project progress to ensure it aligns with the established plan. Initially, this role will be site-based on a 10:4 roster and transition to a Perth-based role early next year.
Responsibilities
Plan, maintain, coordinate, and monitor construction programmes and complete activities involved in Projects, communicating on same with relevant stakeholders. Ensure works between subcontractors are coordinated with minimal interface disruptions. Liaise with the Project Controls Manager on any significant scheduling difficulties which will impact Project delivery. Guide and instruct others in essential aspects of project planning. Assist in the development of Progress Measurement System for Projects. Manage planning documentation, systems, and procedures. Establish regular reports on schedules and performance to the Project Controls Manager. Prepare report formats, s-curves, histograms, etc. as per project standards and requirements. Prepare weekly and monthly reports against Plan. Monitor project progress as per the Progress Measurement System developed for Projects. Report through agreed reporting lines on Project progress and stage assessments. Identify variations and corrective action, if required. About You
Proficient in Planning software MS Project, MS Excel, Primavera or equivalent. Diploma in Engineering (desirable). Minimum 10 years relevant industry planning/scheduling experience. Excellent time-management, attention to detail, and ability to work to deadlines and manage conflicting priorities. Effective communication skills with the ability to interface with project stakeholders. Gather and analyse data from other members of the project team. What we offer
