As part of our business, we exclusively look after the wedding management of some of NSW's most stunning country venues. Our focus is on creating unforgettable experiences for couples on their special day and being a highly valued part of the venue's extended team to make their operations more seamless.
We pride ourselves on our exceptional venues and personalised service, ensuring each wedding is a unique and memorable event. As we expand our reach in the Central Mid-West of NSW, we are looking for a dedicated Venue Sales Agent to join our passionate team.
The Role: We are seeking a charismatic and skilled Venue Sales Agent to join our team on a contractor basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for showcasing our array of stunning wedding venues to prospective couples, and guiding them through the selection process with expertise and enthusiasm. This role is perfect for someone who loves working weekends, with the flexibility to work the odd weekday, and has a passion for people, property and parties.
The role averages 10-15 hours a month in time touring the property with couples (*this can increase over time depending on your desire to increase hours and your skillset). 
Key Responsibilities: Conduct personalised tours of wedding venues for couples, highlighting features and possibilities. Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their vision and needs. Utilise excellent sales skills to secure venue bookings, meeting and exceeding sales targets. Offer clients the option to engage in our event coordination services, showcasing your ability to not only sell the venue but to also bring their vision to life. Work closely with the Wedshed sales team to ensure a seamless booking process and high customer satisfaction. Who you are: A natural salesperson : You're a hungry, driven human who understands client needs and presents solutions that make them feel seen, heard and taken care of. You've got a track record of excelling in sales, meeting KPIs and client relations that you can talk to. Experience in similar role : Previous experience in the hospitality/wedding industry is highly valued, particularly in event planning and coordination or venue management, a real detailed eye and understanding of operations. People-Person : Your genuine warmth, attentiveness and interpersonal skills set you apart. You've got exceptional EQ skills and you've been told that you're highly perceptive. You can read the room and (and bring everyone in the direction you want). Personal Presentation : You pride yourself on personal presentation and professionalism when client facing and 'on the job.' Self-driven and organised : You can work independently, manage your time effectively, and handle multiple tasks seamlessly. Passionate about weddings : A genuine interest in the wedding industry and making couple's core memories come true is at the core of what we do. It helps if you've worked in the space previously. Rock solid communicator : Written and verbal. You can have delicate conversations with confidence and sensitivity and are always on the front-foot of communications. Team-focused but self-starter: You enjoy working as part of a team toward bigger goals, but are extremely comfortable working autonomously. Competitive hourly rate of $55 plus generous commission on each booking. The opportunity to work in some of the most picturesque locations in NSW. Flexibility in scheduling, primarily weekend work with some weekdays. A supportive and dynamic team environment.
