About the role:
The senior pharmacist position will provide a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service, working primarily in the oncology and palliative care fields. The candidate will be required to work across multiple work areas including inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, Day Therapy Unit and the Pharmacy department or facilities within the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS).
The candidate will also be expected to contribute to the development of guidelines and procedures and participate/lead quality improvement projects to enhance delivery of pharmacy service within the CQHHS.
About you:
Mandatory qualification/s: The successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in pharmacy and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a pharmacist in Australia (or eligible for registration in Australia).Demonstrated high level of knowledge, expertise and skill in Clinical Pharmacy in the specialist areas of oncology and palliative care, as well as general clinical pharmacy.Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to consult, negotiate and maintain relationships with senior health professionals and other stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to initiate, plan and evaluate local service and quality improvement initiatives.What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $79,540 p.a. is comprised of:
