About us:
The CQHHS GERI/RaSS is an Emergency Department substitution model designed to support hospital avoidance and the frail older person through their hospital journey. The RaSS component of the service is a team of Nurse Practitioners (NP's) and Clinical Nurses working under the governance of the GERI/RaSS Senior Medical Officer (SMO).
About the role:
The Clinical Nurse (CN) performs an early leadership role inside the career pathway for nursing within CQHHS and can function in more complex situations while providing support and direction to nursing personnel. The CN integrates theory, practice, and experience while enhancing the quality of geriatric nursing care. The CN follows defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies, and procedures to ensure high quality, safe, evidence-based practice within services and workplaces.
About you:
Mandatory qualification/s: Current registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
A relevant postgraduate certificate or postgraduate diploma is an expectation of this position. Where the successful applicant does not currently hold this qualification, commitment to completion within an agreed timeframe is expected and will form part of the performance and development plan.What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $69,420 p.a. is comprised of:
