Central Machinery Services, Ballarat's leading Farm Machinery Dealership and Service Centre, is currently looking for a Qualified Diesel Mechanic. The ideal candidate would be able to provide technical mechanical expertise to assemble, maintain, service and repair machinery and equipment. All delivered in a timely and accurate manner.
Highlights Hours Full-time, with the opportunity for overtime.
Salary Great rate of pay based on experience $36 - $50 per hour plus overtime.
Location Ballarat, Victoria. We can offer a relocation bonus or accommodation for the right applicant.

Essential Criteria Have permanent rights to work in Australia without restrictions Qualified diesel mechanic Experience in agricultural machinery repair and diagnosis Able to clearly communicate both written and verbally Able to complete tasks in a timely manner to the required standard Able to follow instructions Excellent attention to detail & problem-solving abilities Good housekeeping practices Good time management skills Strong commitment to health and safety Preferred Criteria Forklift licence Always striving to learn and expand their knowledge base Current manual driver's license Key Tasks Reporting to the Service Manager Ability to diagnose, action and repair mechanical faults in equipment for maximum reliability Servicing and repairs to machinery of all kinds Communicate effectively with customers, technicians, manufacturers and alike Utilize computer skills to access and navigate through workshop manuals and other technician information sources to ensure the job can be completed to the required specifications Be available for after-hours call out and rotating weekend roster during busy times of the year Comply with all OH&S policies and procedures, as well as company policy and procedures Behaviours Required Teamwork Customer focus Being motivated Loyalty to the job and the business Honesty and integrity If you are looking to progress your career in the agricultural industry, take pride in your work and enjoy being part of a successful team then this may be the role for you!
