Founded in 2007, Parna Ngururrpa (Aboriginal Corporation) RNTBC is the registered native title body corporate holding native title rights and interests in trust for the Ngururrpa people.
Our determination area spans 29,600 square kilometres of culturally significant land, located south of the Balgo community and north of Kiwirrkurra. This vast and unique landscape, rich in cultural heritage and biodiversity, is also recognised as an Indigenous Protected Area, reflecting its ecological and cultural importance.

The Role The Change Manager/Manager will lead the organisation's transformation, driving the development of systems, policies, and processes that enable Parna Ngururrpa to thrive. This role is essential to enhancing governance, ensuring efficient land management, and enabling traditional owners to access opportunities aligned with their native title rights.
Key Responsibilities Governance & Strategy Development: Work closely with directors to design and implement governance frameworks that ensure transparency, accountability, and operational efficiency. Heritage Protection & Land Management: Oversee the management of heritage protection initiatives, cultural landscape mapping, and land access agreements. Community Engagement: Build meaningful relationships with traditional owners and stakeholders to facilitate increased involvement and participation in Parna Ngururrpa's initiatives. Operational Systems: Establish streamlined procedures and systems for day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Capacity Building: Support the growth of internal teams, including ranger programs, and foster a culture of continuous learning and development. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with external service providers and partners to deliver outcomes that benefit the community. ________________________________________
Who We're Looking For This role suits a highly autonomous and adaptable professional with strong leadership skills. The ideal candidate will:
Have strong experience in governance, organisational development, or management, preferably in an Indigenous or community-focused context. Demonstrate an ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups, including traditional owners, community leaders, and external partners. Possess knowledge of heritage protection, land management, or native title law, with a focus on community empowerment. Be a creative problem-solver with initiative and vision to drive innovation and growth. Have the flexibility to travel regularly to Balgo and other communities, with a preference for candidates based in the Kimberley or the Northern Territory. ________________________________________

Location Options The role is ideal for candidates based in Broome & the Kimberley or the Northern Territory due to proximity and the need for regular travel to Balgo. However, other flexible arrangements will be considered for the right candidate.
