CIEE operates the largest nonprofit network of study-abroad locations, with facilities and staff in 29 countries.Who you are :The Center Director of CIEE Sydney will have overall responsibility for the management of all aspects of the Center, overseeing planning and delivery of all CIEE programs, recruiting and developing the Center's core team, and ensuring the highest levels of quality and customer satisfaction.What you'll do :Academic Program: Ensure that the academic department meets its goals in the planning and delivery of the CIEE Sydney programs.Student Services: Ensure that the student life team meets its goals in the development and oversight of student services.Human Resources: Maintain overall responsibility for all center staff and faculty.Health, Safety, and Security: Work with staff to ensure compliance with CIEE standards.Program Evaluation: Oversee the management of the student evaluation processes.Financial and Legal Management: Serve as managing director of the legal entity.Facilities and Student Housing Management: Ensure that the operations team achieves its goals related to the smooth and efficient operation of the facility.External Relations / Internships / Community Engagement: Ensure the development and implementation of strategies to increase awareness of CIEE's mission.Marketing: Support the production of CIEE promotional materials.Other: Participate as needed in the CIEE Annual Conference or other professional meetings.What you'll bring :Minimum of ten years experience in a leadership role within study abroad or international educational exchange.A master's degree is required; a Ph.D. is preferred.Proven ability to build and lead teams.Demonstrated ability to manage teams and deliver strong results.Experience in developing and managing budgets.Strong servicing skills and superior judgment.In-depth knowledge of U.S. and local academic institutions.Ability to engender trust and confidence among stakeholders.Superior written and verbal communication skills.Ability to embrace CIEE's Core Values.Diversity Matters :CIEE believes that diversity matters and encourages candidates from underrepresented groups to apply.Applicant must have the authorization to work in Sydney.Please submit a resume and cover letter.Your application will include the following questions :Have you worked in a role where you were responsible for budget management & forecasting?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years of people management experience do you have?How many years' experience do you have as a centre director?What's your expected annual base salary?How much notice are you required to give your current employer?
