The programme supports people to build their skills to get a job or to participate in activities that contribute to the strength and sustainability of communities.

CDP is the part of our business that satisfies our core mission: to enhance the skills and the opportunities available to people on the communities in which we serve.
We are looking for candidates, ideally for a couple who would like to work as a part of the team to enhance the lives of community members. While previous experience would be great, we prioritize a great work ethic and the ability work on and become part of the community.
The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Strengthen relationships with local business and connection with Community Organisations. Deliver an individualised service to each participant. Work with each participant in a culturally appropriate strengths-based model to support them to achieve their goals. Meet the compliance requirements associated with CDP. Required Qualifications and Skills:
Good communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work, build rapport and maintain effective relationships with clients, peers and relevant agencies from culturally diverse backgrounds. Understanding of the barriers to employment and the effects of unemployment. Ability to identify aspirations, motivation and increasing employment opportunities for clients. Ability to effectively manage time and workloads in line with the business priorities. Self-motivation, along with the ability to demonstrate high level of professionalism, compliance and attention to details. A good knowledge of Work, Health & Safety policies. Preferably, possess a broad knowledge of the Community Development Program. A competitive Annual salary plus above guaranteed superannuation rate.
