About the role: As the Document Standards Specialist for our DC Operations Business Unit, you will support the day-to-day management of our Data Centres by ensuring CDC personnel have access to documentation that is essential for their roles. You will enhance operational efficiency, service quality, data management practices and drive continuous improvement through process optimisation. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Operational Services, you will collaborate cross-functionally with multi-disciplinary teams to maintain high standards of documentation integrity and facilitate smooth operational workflows. Additionally, you will manage our Operations Information environment and standardise formats and structures across all DC campuses across Australia and New Zealand.
Key Accountabilities: Operations Systems Support: Manage daily system operations, troubleshoot and resolve issues, provide user support, and deploy system updates while analysing processes for improvement. Document Reviews and Approvals: Set and maintain standards for document creation, review, and approval, addressing feedback and ensuring quality compliance. Communication, Training, and Support: Create and update user guides and training materials, deliver training sessions, provide technical support, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Monitoring and Reporting: Track document status, generate activity reports, and align document management practices with organisational goals. About you: This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in information management, a keen eye for detail, and experience in fast-paced environments. As CDC experiences a period of growth and development, this position will be crucial in enhancing existing operational workflows and implementing new systems and processes.
Essential: Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.
Experience: Strong technical skills with a solid understanding of Microsoft Sharepoint and Power BI; the ideal candidate will possess super-user level skills across both tools. Previous experience in document control, workflow management and information systems administration. Proficiency in database applications and Microsoft Dynamics certifications (e.g., MB-300, MB-310, MB-320) are desirable. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
