The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse to join the team at Northern Health CCU based in Preston full time.
This role requires working in a multi-discipline team with other highly dedicated team members consisting of nursing, allied health, and medical professionals all working together to provide a high standard of care for our consumers.
Our work environment is one of collaboration, where we share knowledge and expertise with each other, with the view to benefit our residents in our facility.
Our 20-bed Residential Rehabilitation service provides support to our consumers as we work together to achieve their recovery goals and empower them to regain the ability to live independently and to their fullest potential.
We pride ourselves on being specialised in symptom management, medication supervision, life-skills training, rehabilitation, and reintegrating into the community.
To be successful in this role you will have: Experience and good working knowledge of mental health.Proven ability to support consumers in meeting their recovery goals by understanding the philosophical foundations, processes, and environments that support recovery.Knowledge of major types of treatments, therapies, and targeted interventions and their contributions to innovative recovery-oriented service delivery approaches.A communication style that shows respect for consumers and their families/carers, and an ability to manage relationships to facilitate recovery.Knowledge of consumer rights and responsibilities, and the ability to facilitate consumers in making informed choices for recovery.Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the multidisciplinary team to achieve the desired consumer outcomes.Next Steps:
