We are seeking a Senior Social Work Clinician to join our vibrant and dynamic team at Central Coast Local Health District. About You You hold a degree level qualification in Social Work from an accredited course providing eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) (overseas qualifications must supply the AASW Overseas Assessment number), a demonstrated understanding of the current AASW Practice Standards as they relate to the position, and a commitment to maintaining a professional skill and knowledge base. You have extensive experience working with consumers with a lived experience of mental illness and experience in the delivery of a range of evidence-based mental health interventions, including mental health assessment, in an individual and group context. You have a proven ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team, support clinical leadership, and demonstrate a commitment to professional development, evidence-based practice, and continuous improvement. Where You'll Be Working This role is predominantly based at Citigate Centre North Gosford; however, you may be required to travel throughout the Central Coast Local Health District. As a Senior Social Work Clinician, you will offer community-based services within a dedicated interdisciplinary team, delivering high-quality care. You will demonstrate clinical expertise, supervise junior staff, and provide clinical leadership. Responsibilities include specialist mental health assessment, counseling, treatment, case planning, liaison, advocacy, and referrals to appropriate community services.
