This role presents an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to deliver high-quality, evidence-informed physiotherapy care to patients, their families, and caregivers as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will play a key role in enhancing clinical practice and service delivery while providing leadership and mentorship to junior staff and students. This position will be part of the Lymphoedema Prevention & Early Intervention program on the Central Coast. Since 2021, over 6,500 patients have been part of the program. It has successfully prevented lymphoedema in more than 700 patients, with only 4% developing the condition. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering specialised physiotherapy services for clients with lymphoedema. You will exercise independent professional judgment in managing complex cases that require advanced practice skills, utilising evidence-based approaches to achieve optimal patient outcomes. You will also supervise and support Level 1 and 2 Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants, and students, ensuring their professional development through active engagement in education and training initiatives. Your contributions will include identifying and implementing continuous improvement strategies to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of clinical service delivery while adhering to professional, organisational, and ethical standards. About You You have a Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Physiotherapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency. You have well-developed written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. You must be able to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team. You have the ability to provide in-depth advice and education to enhance service delivery, along with the capacity to guide and support other staff in achieving service excellence through clinical supervision. You have advanced reasoning and problem-solving skills, along with effective time management and the ability to prioritise workload.
