Join our dedicated team and play a pivotal role in supporting cardiac rehabilitation and improving the health and wellbeing of patients across various settings.
As a Registered Nurse in Community Cardiac Services, you will work alongside multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive nursing care. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on best practice principles, ensuring that the needs of patients and their families/carers are met. You will contribute to cardiac rehabilitation in the community, providing a collaborative partnership approach to care.
This vacancy is due to a maternity relief backfill and should the permanent incumbent require an early return from maternity leave, this contract of employment will cease with two weeks' notice. Maternity relief positions can be for a period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of continued employment for up to a further 12 months for maternity leave reduced hours, therefore there are no claims to permanency.
About You You have current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You have recent clinical experience in Cardiac Services and a commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice. You hold a current unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence and have the ability to work in a community-based role. Demonstrated effective clinical communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in information technology systems. Demonstrate ability to apply critical thinking strategies and effectively prioritise and organise own workload. Where You'll be Working This is a community-based role that may require travel to locations across the Central Coast.
