Employment Type: Temporary Part Time - January 2025 to November 2025 Position Classification: Registered Midwife Remuneration: $36.38 - $51.08 per hour Hours Per Week: Up to 38 Requisition ID: REQ537346 An Eligibility List (E-List) or talent pool may be created from this recruitment episode to assist in filling future permanent, temporary, full-time and part-time positions.
This is a maternity relief position and should the permanent incumbent require an early return from maternity leave, this contract of employment will cease with two weeks notice. Maternity relief positions can be for a period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of continued employment for up to a further 12 months for maternity leave reduced hours, therefore there are no claims to permanency.
Are you an experienced midwife?Looking to move your career to the stunning NSW coast?Join us at Central Coast Local Health District as a Registered Midwife.About You You have recent competent clinical experience in midwifery (and in the speciality), demonstrating ability to practice safe care in line with policies and directives and clinical practice guidelines.You have demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and sound written, verbal and interpersonal skills.You have current Registration or eligible for Registration as Registered Midwife (Division 1) with AHPRA, and provides evidence of meeting the AHPRA Recency of Practice Standards.What You'll Be Doing The Registered Midwife provides safe, compassionate, person-centred care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of maternity care in collaboration with patients and the multidisciplinary health care team to achieve quality care outcomes for women and their families.
