This is a maternity relief position and should the permanent incumbent require an early return from maternity leave, this contract of employment will cease with two weeks notice.
Maternity relief positions can be for a period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of continued employment for up to a further 12 months for maternity leave reduced hours, therefore there are no claims to permanency. In this role, you will provide comprehensive podiatry care to clients, patients, and consumers, adhering to professional, organisational, legal, and ethical standards.
You will perform clinical assessments, manage treatment plans, and seek support from senior clinicians as needed.
Your responsibilities include participating in continuous improvement initiatives, engaging in ongoing education and training, and actively contributing to the podiatry professional network.
Additionally, you will participate in clinical research activities and quality improvement efforts to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
About You You have a current Authority to Practice as a Podiatrist registered with AHPRA.You have clinical experience in a tertiary institution treating High Risk Feet.You hold an Australian Drivers' Licence.You have strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.Where You'll Be Working
You will be working between Gosford, Wyong and Woy Woy Hospitals, and may be required to travel to other locations within the Central Coast Local Health District.
