This is a maternity relief position and should the permanent incumbent require an early return from maternity leave, this contract of employment will cease with two weeks notice. Maternity relief positions can be for a period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of continued employment for up to a further 12 months for maternity leave reduced hours, therefore there are no claims to permanency.
Do you want to make a difference? Central Coast Local Health District Pharmacy Department is looking for a Pharmacist Grade 1 / 2 to come and join our team. As part of the Pharmacy Department, you will have the opportunity to join a collaborative team, gain valuable experience, and contribute to positive patient outcomes.
About You You are Registered as a practicing pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (or eligible for registration within 3 months of commencement) with ability to rotate across CCLHD sites, participate in on-call, after-hours, weekend and public holiday work as required. Grade 2 Pharmacists must meet the criteria set out in the Health Employees' Pharmacists (State) Award and are expected to continually demonstrate achievement of at least three of the five listed competencies within the Award.
You can demonstrate effective clinical drug knowledge and competence in its application to achieve safe and efficient quality of care.
You have a proven commitment to professional development, continuing education, and pharmacy research, including membership of a professional pharmacy association, preferably the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia (SHPA).
You have the ability to rotate across CCLHD sites.
