The Nursing Unit Manager (NUM) is responsible for the coordination of patient services, unit management, and nursing staff management within a patient services/ward unit consistent with the strategic directions of Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD). You will take overall responsibility for the health care environment and standard of patient care, perform as a clinical leader and manager with accountability for culture, quality and safety, patient flow, financial management, change management, and the experience of patients in that unit.
About You You have current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).You possess recent clinical experience within the Local Health District and a commitment to quality improvement, practice development, and evidence-based practice.You have demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and sound written verbal and interpersonal skills. Where You'll Be Working You will be based at Gosford Hospital Emergency Department.
