We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Healthcare Improvement Officer to join our Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD). This role involves collaborating with staff and managers across CCLHD to lead and support critical healthcare improvement initiatives and programs. The successful candidate will play a key part in enhancing organisational performance and delivering high-quality healthcare services.
An Eligibility List (E-List) or talent pool may be created from this recruitment episode to assist in filling future permanent, temporary, or casual full-time and part-time positions. As a Healthcare Improvement Officer, you will coordinate, manage, and support project teams responsible for the development and implementation of health programs. Your key responsibilities will include leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of healthcare initiatives, applying a problem-solving mindset to drive sustainable improvements, and integrating quality improvement and project management processes to achieve program objectives. You will establish strong, collaborative relationships across the Local Health District, build organisational capacity for continuous improvement, and act as an advocate for positive change. Your role will involve managing risks, analysing information for evidence-based decision-making, and ensuring alignment with the CCLHD vision, goals, and strategies.
About You Degree in a health-related discipline, health management, or project management.Expertise in process improvement, change management, and project management in the healthcare setting.Ability to integrate evaluation feedback into service delivery and adapt to changing priorities.Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.Proficiency in problem-solving and data analysis for evidence-based decisions.Proven leadership and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.Familiarity with healthcare quality improvement frameworks and methodologies.Where you'll be working You will be working within the Central Coast Local Health District, a progressive and supportive environment dedicated to healthcare excellence.
