We have an opportunity for a dedicated Registered Nurse to work on a part-time basis in our Child & Family Health Service. You will work within a dedicated multi-disciplinary team environment operating within a primary health care model that emphasizes a holistic, strengths-based approach with families, caregivers, infants, and young children. In this role, you will support breastfeeding and lactation, deliver nursing interventions to help achieve health and well-being goals, and ensure precise documentation and reporting in the appropriate electronic systems.
About You You have current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).You have demonstrated post-registration experience in Child and Family Health working with children aged 0-5.You have demonstrated ability to identify, address, and respond appropriately to safety concerns for infants and children, with experience in consulting and responding to instances where an infant or child is at risk of significant harm (ROSH).You have fantastic communication skills including verbal, written, and interpersonal skills and can liaise effectively with parents/carers/families and members of the multidisciplinary health team.Where You'll be Working As the leading healthcare provider in the region, Central Coast Local Health District is well known for its dedication to high-quality patient care and community services.
