Situated within the innovative CCLHD Mental Health unit, this role will see you providing evidence-based, individual treatments to young people aged 5-18 years old.About YouYou have demonstrated ability to meet the essential criteria with postgraduate experience working within a Child and Adolescent Mental Health service or Mental Health Service.You possess demonstrated knowledge of working within a crisis intervention model of care and sensitivity to the mental health needs of young people and their families.You have demonstrated ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.Where You'll Be WorkingThe service provides assertive outreach and intensive case management, specifically aimed at engaging young people experiencing moderate to severe mental health problems/disorders.To provide professional clinical services to young people and their families.To provide evidence-based individual therapy that is trauma-informed with a recovery focus.To ensure families and carers have input into assessments, care plans, and reviews where appropriate.To liaise with relevant agencies and actively participate in case conferences and team meetings concerning the care of young people and support families.To consult with team members and staff from other agencies regarding the care and management of clients.This Position Is Graded For The FollowingOccupational Therapist Level 3Clinical PsychologistSenior PsychologistClinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2Social Worker Level 3Welfare Officer Level 3Counsellor Level 3Clinical Midwife Specialist Grade 2As the leading healthcare provider in the region, Central Coast Local Health District is well known for its dedication to high-quality patient care and community services.
