As part of Navitas' University Partnerships Australasia Division, working at Curtin College means you'll be part of a dedicated community of international higher education professionals.Casual Teachers - Expressions of InterestCasual Academic Teachers are responsible for delivering high-quality education programs to a diverse cohort of students. We seek innovative and energetic individuals to lead small classes (usually fewer than 30, often fewer than 20).Our teaching staff deliver units at the pre-University, 1st-year, or pre-Master's level units on-campus in Curtin University's newest building in Bentley.Responsibilities include teaching in your areas of expertise, participating in professional development, developing teaching materials, actively engaging with students, administration and record keeping.We are seeking casual teachers across the following subjects at the Diploma level, after which students transition into the 2nd-year of a Curtin University Bachelor's course:Arts and Creative IndustriesCommerceHealth ScienceInformation TechnologyMaster's Qualifying ProgramThe person we seek will ideally have the following:Demonstrated knowledge and experience of innovative approaches to learning and teachingPassion for ensuring high-quality student outcomesProven expertise in tailoring delivery for international studentsExperience working in a multicultural environmentA demonstrated track record of professional development and continuous improvementTwo years of teaching experience at the College level or equivalent within a higher education environment (we will also consider those with teaching at the Year 11 and Year 12 levels)Well-developed oral and written communication skillsDemonstrated computer literacy skills relevant to the role, including proficiency with the MS Office Suite and Learning Management SystemTertiary qualifications at the Bachelor's level or higher in a relevant discipline areaWorking towards or the completion of formal study in an education/teaching area.Teaching experience at Curtin University or have graduated from Curtin University.About NavitasNavitas is a leading global education provider that has helped generations of learners transform their lives through education.
